Scope of the Papers
Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), healthcare cybersecurity, biomedical informatics, and molecular communication and computing for medicine are the focus of the 18th International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology (ISMICT) to be held in London, UK, on May 15-17, 2024. The theme is Remote and On Person Intelligent Monitoring: Real Care For Me Systems. Papers are invited on topics including, but not limited to, the following:
- Pervasive Health Care and Patient Monitoring
- Microwave Sensing Techniques for Medical Applications
- Bio/Molecular Communication and Computing for Medicine
- Body Area Network (BAN) Technologies
- Cybersecurity in Healthcare
- Internet of Medical Things
- Privacy and Security Issues
- Wearable and Implantable Devices
- Wellness and Sports Training
Submission Guidelines
Papers submitted to ISMCIT 2024 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. Paper submissions should follow the IEEE template for conferences. A maximum of 6 pages (10-point font) are allowed for each paper, all figures and references included. Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution
after the conference if the paper is not presented at the
conference.
